i loved

i did
but love didnt love me
it walked away
so i tried to hide
and when it came back
i was still waiting
but it slapped me in the face
brought me to my knees and made me cry
and when it turned away again
it crossed through my thoughts
so i can no longer feel
for today anyway
and i am still waiting
but i am still on my knees
with a tear upon my cheek
i loved,
i did
but love didnt love me. |
