» Poem: Touching Death
Touching Death
written by Silent_Hate

I could fly away if I really wanted too,
I could make this day,
The day,
That I part from this world,
Lonely soul of this girl speak,
Can you hear the screaming?
Lonely soul of this girl speak,
Can you hear the cursing?

Lay my soul I have to keep,
Lay it right down to a sleep,
Of eternal darkness fade,
In a broken cot too weep,
Her scarring arms,
And blackened heart,
Give her one of her best charms,
And that’s the wake of touching death,

Isolation is a key,
Of eternal damnation,
Suicidal maniacs with their blades & hesitations,
Stop the crying stop the lying,
Everything is getting better,
Lonely soul of this girl speak,
Can you hear the crying?
Lonely soul of this girl speak,
Can you hear them lying?

Lay my soul I have to keep,
Lay it right down to a sleep,
Of eternal darkness fade,
In a broken cot too weep,
Her scarring arms,
And blackened heart,
Give her one of her best charms,
And that’s the wake of touching death,
