» Poem: Same Nightmare, Different Day
Same Nightmare, Different Day
written by wiltedrose
06:30 PM 3/12/05
My past has locked me here
With no key to free my mind
But sometimes on a world like this
It’s better off confined

You look at me with puzzled eyes
Of witch I can’t explain
Sometimes I sit and think at night
How to stand up to your pain

You hurt me beyond what I can forgive
And you wonder why this is so
It is just not right to persist
When a lady tells you no

So it’s time for me to say goodbye
I have nothing more to say
But everything will just repeat itself
Same nightmare, different day
