» Poem: Useless Dreamer
Useless Dreamer
written by wiltedrose

These words are nothing anymore
I can’t express what’s in my core

It’s useless I fear I must give in
Uselessness is my mortal sin

And I thought for a second you cut me some slack
When in the end you stuck a knife in my back

Using the same words that I thought were gone
Right back against me to push me along

You used me then tried to do twice more
You’re a fake a fraud, for the lives you tore

But when I stood up for a chance to fight
Around my neck your hands held tight
