Save this place

On the coldest of nights like this
Whether this place means anything to anyone
This pure ignorance is bliss
Although life has fallen apart
I hold on to that glimmer of hope
Only to be snatched again
But I won’t sit here and mope
Everything is splitting up
Right before our eyes
All this mindless fighting
All the useless peaceful tries
I need this place I need my poems
But the barrier continues to break
Who cares about our past
Please for goodness sake!
Times like this I consider leaving
And never looking back
But instead I’ll try to save it all
It’s the courage that I lack
But who am I to say this
I have no idea who should
Time for m to give up writing
This time for good |
