I Loved You

We shared laughs
We shared fears
And then I felt your wrath
I don't know what happened
I don't know how it happened
All I know is when it happened
And all I know is that I loved you
I repeated to you over and over
i love you I Love You I LOVE YOU
But you didn't turn, or seem to care
When I said hello to you
You ignored me
Like I wasn't even there,
Or didn't exist
You lived based on lies
That you knew damn well weren't true
I tried to explain what was right
Continually saying I Love You
You still didn't care
And the cause of that was tragic
I moved on with my life
And you died, not knowing the truth
Of what really happened
I now miss you
Wishing I could have done something more
To keep you on this earth
And to continue to speak to you
Whether I felt the knives of your tongue, or not
I didn't care
i loved you I Loved You I LOVED YOU |
