Gone But Not Forgotten

You'll always be in our heart
We'll watch the slide show of your lives
And try not to fall apart
With damp tissues and runny noses
We see pictures of you through blurry eyes
And we can't do one thing to bring you back
It's hard enough trying not to ask 'why'
We'll hold each other and somehow survive
As we hear of how you went away
Although we know you went to a better place
We still would've liked you to stay
We've packed ourselves into this gym
And we're all here for you
This is your memorial and
We pray for strength to get through
Lacimarie, Mallory, and Philip
We're sorry we didn't get to say goodbye
One day we will all see you again
When it's our turn to live in the sky |
