Hell Hath No Fury
written by YouSmileAs_I_Die04:29 AM 3/13/05Staring out the window at a dark and long-lost world
The rain sends them running from the endlessness that they feel
Drip
Drip
Drip
The sounds burn their way into Her mind
Burning
Burning
Burning
Away the soul She thought She'd lost such a long time ago
But lo and behold
There It stands alone in the cold
The moving embodiment of the emptiness inside us all
It reaches out begging Her silently to take It back
To relieve It from Its mindless wandering
She laughs out loud
Haunting
Haunting
Haunting
Such a haunting sound it is
Like a thousand souls screaming for release from the firey Gates of Hell
Clawing
Clawing
Clawing
Away at the lock
Willing it to break open
Satan smiles and drives them back
With his burning scpeter
He has no mercy
Louder
Louder
Louder
Their screams echo off the scathing walls
That pierce their bare flesh
As the minons of Hell drive them into them
But Hell hath no fury
Like that She keeps hidden away inside Her heart
So scarred and black |
