Thoughtless words
All you do is criticize
Can't you just hold me
Can't you bear to say you love me
Let me rest my head on your shoulder
Pull me in closer
Wipe away my tears
Tell me that it's gonna be okay
Lie to me
I don't care if they're lies
Just fill me with false hope
I just don't want to care anymore
But it hurts so bad
I wish i could be numb like you
Empty like you
Just like you
But while i'm me
Will you just try to soothe the pain
Kiss all the scars
Tell me i'm still your son
Tell me your still my dad. |
