» Poem: only the wind can hear her
only the wind can hear her
written by melons
06:09 PM 3/13/05
Only the wind can hear her
Her words weave among the trees,
Hoping and praying it will reach life
Only whispers echo back to her,
Like a baby’s silent sleep

Her hair long and red,
Blowing in the breeze
Holding on to her soul,
Feeding it life from within the air
Her ocean blue eyes pierce,
The sky’s as she floats
