» Poem: The Scars
The Scars
written by xXmasqueradeXgirlXx
01:18 AM 7/24/04
The scars that crisscross my limbs
You would help me if I were drowning
To help me
Overcome
HELP ME
The masochistic tendencies bloom
Little crosses
On my wrists and arms
Delicately cutting my supple skin
Against sharp razorblade
Bittersweet symphonies
It helps me immensely
Innocence
Life
Happiness
Dreams
I dare to defy the rape
And live out my dreams
Pleadings
Cries
In a sweet Whimsical instant
Free!
