» Poem: Truthful
Truthful

The love we shared
Was good indeed
But you left me here
In sorrow-filled tears.
You shattered my love
But who said love was easy?
Who said that we are invulnerable?
No one did.
I opened myself and let you in.
We are vulnerable as forever
Angels be with you.
Is it true?
If it has feathers, it is a bird?
Or an angel with lessons to be learned?
I know not the answer
But surely I care
Even though you are gone, I still care.
Love is a fragile thing.
It needs to kindle back
Back to a raging fire
A fire of deep desires.
Red love! Endless passion.
