» Poem: All my fault |
All my fault
written by lostinamirror12:30 AM 3/14/05I remember your parting like it was yesterday.
We were young.
It was just the tow of us, as usual.
We has been trying loads of new things.
A harder drug each time.
I was unsure this time.
I asked you to go first.
I blame myself, you know.
You took too much.
I faked, i pretended to take it.
I miss you.
It was the scariest day of my life.
I carried you for miles.
When we reached the hospital....
well, it was far too late.
You had gone.
It was all my fault.
I was such a fool.
You changed my life,
it scared me away from drugs.
I remember clearly the look on your face,
the last words to leave your lips:
"I love you nikki, the best friend I've ever had."
I wasn't.
If i was you would still be here.
We would still be friends.
I think of you every night,
I talk to you.
I swear I push myself the extra mile because of you.
I guess I am only here to show you I care.
But not for long,
the guilt is killing me.
I want to be with you again.
I want to be happy again.
Don't worry Sarah,
I will see you soon.
All it takes is a twist of the wrist and this knife shall slit my throat.
I will be beside you shortly.
We can laugh at our jokes.
I hope you remember me,
I am on my way. |
