» Poem: You and Me
You and Me
written by xXmasqueradeXgirlXx
01:43 AM 7/24/04
I remember the days we spent
Never worrying about how to repent
Seeing you laughing was all I needed
Wearing that red necklace, beaded
And I was carefree as well
No troubles that time would tell
Your fingers caressed my skin
Not knowing where to begin
To tell me of the love you felt
Never knowing with what we dealt
Souls so true and clear
Only wanting to be near
Each other day and night
We both thought it was right
Oh but it was so very wrong
As sounded the doomed gong
I wish it were a different way
Because I can
