Your Eyes

They explain that you wouldn't put one person above me
They assure me that I'm safe when I'm with you
And that there isn't one thing for me you wouldn't do
That you wouldn't hesititate to take the stars from the sky
That if I asked you, you wouldn't ask why
They take ahold of me and pull me in
They allow me to see the person within
Your eyes are the portal into your heart
They reassure me that we'll never fall apart
They remind me what I love about you
They tell me that our love is absolutely true
Your eyes are my inspiration; telling me to never quit
They tell me with just one glance that you'll always commit
I look into your eyes, and know you would never hurt me
And when I look into your eyes, they remind me that this is the way it should be. |
