» Poem: To the girl..
To the girl..
written by PerplexinglyFalseReality

During the day i smile it away
The pain i hide discretely
But when i'm home and all alone
My heart is hers completely

I lie awake and think of her
I feel as if im sick
I do love her, yet she's not mine
My mind cant grasp this trick

I can't explain the way i feel
i know i care to much
But my mind cannot erase
The mem'ry of her touch
And my mind make me relive
The softness of her lips
and it makes me think about
The teasing pressure of her hips

I never did make love to her
though id die for the chance
Id love to say to miss the pain
Id have to miss the dance
bur damnit fifteen minutes
is but a passing glance

I'd love to say i hate her
and ironically it seems
I've grown to hate the love
that i show her in my dreams

and by this of course i do not mean
a loving of the flesh
though ill admit i've dreamnt of this
at night when i can rest

I cannot say, I love her, though
for love's, to me, you see
a feeling that two must have
it can't just come from me

So what is it i feel for her
this moving, caring, bliss
And how can i just be her friend
when i still taste her kiss

And how can i just stand aside
and let her walk away
When i still think about her
every night and every day

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
This took me all of twenty minutes to write which pissed me off because a timespan like that is what its about. this girl i am just completely in love with was dating a friend of mine and she broke up with him and went to me then had to choose between us and picked him. She was mine for around fifteen to twenty minutes in which time i held her the whole time and kissed her thrice. As a future development im now with her.
