A short poem

The darkest night will have its morning,
The coldest winters melt to spring,
The empty tree's of autum regrow there leaves,
that is how i know you'll come back to me

I understand your 'every up has it's down' natue to your poem; but I'm unclear how that relates to how your lover will come back to you. Are you saying that, because of the predictability of nature, your lover has no freedom of choice? He must come back to you in the same way, the sun rises after it sets? Hmmmm......

I thought it was good for a short poem, and I get what you mean.... If somethings bad then theres always a good to over come it. So since he/she left you then something right will happen. And you believe that right is he/she coming back to you. They just have to look deeper and not glimps over your poem to find something to criticize
