» Poem: Why does it matter
Why does it matter
written by Bloodfilledcinnabuns
09:04 PM 3/16/05
I stare blankly at my reflection in my round mirror
Only an impression
Only a sick distorted image of myself
Yet, why?
Why do I subject myself to such egotistic desires?
My hair
My make-up
My clothes
My weight
How does it matter?
I slowly close my eyes to hide the evil in the mirror
I grasp in my mind for the one drop of reality in this world
But, I can't find any
None...
Have we lost all value?
