Fate

She just wont leave my mind
I guess the problem, you might say
Is that i just don't mind.
I think about her all the time
Inside, outside, in school
I know it can't be good for me
I know i seem a fool
To love a girl who's with another
Gods this isn't cool
Understand this much at least
I am not obsessed
But why should i dream of another
When i've seen the best
I love her guile, her looks, her charm
I love her poise and grace
And now it's rare i close my eyes
and do not see her face
Why must i feel this way for her
My gods, she's with my friend
And worse, she feels for me as well
The torment never ends
Would that he were less a friend
Or had done me wrong
So that i could justify
The writing of this song
But alas that's not the case
and so i sit and wait
Will she be mine or stay with him
I guess it's up to Fate |

This was actually the written before "To the girl" this was when we knew we liked each other but would hardly look at each other because she was with my now former friend.
