Disgust is my germ,
It wriggles through me like a worm,
Sinking in and taking hold,
Infecting me with pain untold,
Dirty darkness is my veil,
Hiding a face so sad and pale,
Crawling, crying, keep on trying,
Living, lying, slowly dying,
I dream of happiness constantly,
But i am hiding from reality,
A cockroach concealed in a palace,
Expensive mirrors wont disguise malice,
I am nothing more than toxic waste,
Just drowning in my own disgrace,
To wash away the disgust in me,
Would make me smile and set me free,
Untill i learn to crawl out of my skin,
I'll stay trapped in this hell i'm living in. |
