Gone

Have not been for long.
I was only a whisper
But my voice has been taken.
I became a thought
But then people forgot.
I am a guarding eye,
And then I was blinded.
I was a ceaseless breeze,
Until I disappeared.
Now I wander here
Not to be seen or noticed.
I cast no shadow
And follow no path.
Everyday more useless
Than the day before.
And I am lifted up,
Never to be missed. |
