Sunshine Girl

you're always smiling,
Always happy and pretty,
I wonder how you do it.
Sunshine girl,
even if the world ditched you,
you'd still stand strong,
I wonder how you do it.
Sunshine girl,
I have never seen a tear,
rolling down from your rosy cheeks,
I wonder how you do it.
Sunshine girl,
you seem to have no fears,
and you bring light to everyone,
so I thank God for you.
Sunshine girl,
you're one of a kind,
the kind who would smile and tell people it's okay,
when they are cryin.
Sunshine girl,
thank you for comforting me,
in my time of need,
thank you for all you've done for me.
Sunshine girl,
if it weren't for you,
I'd never live to see today,
and the sun that shines so bright even when the world is upside down.
Sunshine girl,
the reflection in my mirror,
yet so different from the real me,
so beautiful and bright.
Sunshine girl,
I hope to be like you,
one day, I know,
I hope to have this dream come true. |

I wrote this cause, me and my best friend, even tho we're so alike yet different, we've been thru everything that could be thrown at us. She was always the brighter and kinder one. While I was dark-minded and stuff. So this poem is dedicated to her
