Take My Hand

I promise we'll be okay.
Be it rain or shine,
I promise we'll make it through today.
Take my hand,
although I don't know you.
We live such similar lives,
all the things that happened to you, happened to me too.
Take my hand,
I know it's cold.
It can never give you warmth,
but it still beats being left alone.
Take my hand,
don't be afraid of those shadows.
Their purpose is to haunt you,
but deep inside, their heart is shallow.
Take my hand,
don't look behind, don't look back.
Keep on going,
as everything behind us fades to black.
Take my hand,
we'll fly away.
To some place, no one will find us,
and let people say what they wanna say.
Take my hand,
we'll be just fine.
I won't let you shed a tear,
and I promise, when we reach there, the sun will brightly shine. |

| u just freaked me out, i only kno one person that ever says thankies, and thats me, wow, weird. well, i loved that poem mostly because its exactly how i feel about this one guy rite now. keep up the good work! |
