» Poem: Haunting Memories.
Haunting Memories.
written by Josh_x

Looking into mirror
Staring into the eyes
Of a scared young boy
Too afraid of the truth
The truth as to why
She felt she had to die
Splashing water over my reflection
Staring at the distortion
That is me
Smashing my fist into the mirror
Watching as the blood coated shards
Fell to the floor
Staring at my clinched fist
Covered with small but deep cuts
Washing away the blood
Watching as it mixes with water
In the bathroom sink
As i sit on the floor
I listen to the soothing trickling of the tap
Wondering how long i can last
With my haunting memories of the past.

This is pretty good; a few minor weak places, but overall, I liked it. Good job.
