Drowning

From the cut I made myself
I’ll watch the floor begin to flood
And I’ll place it on my shelf
I’ll suffocate in isolation
And ache with your goodbye
I’ll fight the urge of sweet temptation
But I can’t escape my high
I’ll slice my arm and pinch my pain
But I’ll never hide from my fate
Tears fall down my face like rain
And I know that it’s too late
My eyes being to fill with regret
This has spun out of control
All this pain I can’t forget
You stole away my soul |
