seen but not heard
written by Bloodfilledcinnabuns07:58 PM 3/17/05There is the girl who is seen but not heard
And anyone can tell you, be rest assured,
She barely ever utters a word.
She is very smart,
But all we can see
Is her quiet, studious part
What else could she be?
No one will ever giver her a chance
To share all of her joy, her sadness, her rants
Not that she will ever show these
She'll only whisper Yes, or No, Please
She wanders alone
Feelings behind her eyes
With her all of her face
Hidden in her hair
What lurks inside and beneath there?
No one has ventured
Just to see,
Maybe she'd prefer
If we'd all just let her be
But no one will no
Rest well assured
More about the girl
Who is seen but not heard. |

You replace quality with quantity.
Instead of spending your free time writing 10 poems a day, why not use it mroe constructively, and write one poem that is actually good? |
