--The Heart Lives No More--

Outside, black rain lashes,
Drowning out the screams,
Of fifty seven gashes,
Bleeding into reality,
Crimson rivers flow tonight,
With every slash,
Every twist of this knife,
Rip out the pain,
Burn the hatred away,
Roast your soul in the flame,
All this blood pours in vain,
When inside the darkness
Is tearing a hole,
Cracking the surface,
And taking control,
With its stabbing hands,
It claws out the heart,
Screaming and bleeding,
Slowly tearing it apart...
Just to throw it outside
Into sharp acid rain,
Dead like the soul that was killed
By the pain,
Rotting amongst all the flesh
On the floor,
It's the end of the world,
For the heart lives no more.

Beginning with "cracking the surface" to the end; is superbly written. Good job.
