» Poem: Lonely
Lonely

Sitting in a corner with no more dreams,
I can't make my life be what I want it to be.
Crowding up inside me,
No more can I feel,
I get to the point
That I don't know what's real.
I'm on my knees begging,
For someone to pass by;
For someone who would hear my cry.
Laughing when I'm sad;
Ignoring the hurt,
No matter what happens, it just doesn't work.
Break down in the middle of nowhere,
To lost to even search,
I climb a building, and there I perch.
I watch the people beneath,
So happy and full,
What I see in me is something so dull.
But maybe if I try harder,
I'll get to my goal,
Hopefull on the way I won't lose my soul.
