» Poem: One Chance
One Chance

I live life the fullest,
Even though it may not work out.
I try to smile
When I'm in a pool of doubt.
Some people say there is an afterlife,
Some people say no.
but I'm not going to hurt myself,
Just so I can know.

Even when I'm feeling down,
And it seems there is nobody around,
I stand up and take a chance,
And make the biggest sound.

When all I can see is nothing,
And I can feel is hurt,
When all I can hear is silence,
I try to make it work.

Afterlife or no, I have to make a shot.
I've got a one in a million chance,
And that's not a lot.
