I love it when you feel at peace with yourself,
So much relaxation and calmess,
I love it when you drift away from reality,
Sometimes I get so dizzy it feels like i'm living in a dream,
Like I can't even hear myself scream,
I see the blood running down people's faces,
The fury and revenge burning in their eyes,
The blood is the tear they cry,
For all faith and hope is lost,
Of actually returning to this burnt down reality,
The reality of ashes,
The fire has already died down,
There are no longer flames in their eyes,
Just saddness and mourn,
Now this blood on their cheeks has turned to ice,
So cold and protective of ones own heart,
To get near you, someone would have to break this ice cold blood apart,
So no one would even bother trying to get that close,
So close that they could hear your breath creep in and out,
So close that they could hear your broken heartbeat,
They could see the mist in your eyes,
The water vapor appearing like a waterfall,
The ice cold blood now turns to stone,
Cold,crimson,and now unbreakable,
Just like your own heart,
It no longer feels like it did before,
It never will love again anymore,
The stone cold blood still runs down their faces,
Not knowing that their own heartbeat races. |
