The raindrop drips onto your skin,
From then on you know what you have done,
How can you forgive youself,
It took you so long to control it,
The question is,
What do you do next,
You didn't mean to,
You have never done this before,
You can still taste it in your mouth,
Why did you do such a thing,
All you had to do was control it,
But it is harder to do than say,
To resist that wonderful liquid of life,
That makes you feel so alive,
You see the body,
So pale and gray,
You didn't mean to,
You would have never done that before,
Before all of this chaos had started,
You try to forgive yourself,
But you can do nothing except cry,
For that innocent life you took away,
You know that it was you,
You can never forgive yourself for such madness,
You were acting like an animal hunting for its prey,
You heard the heart beat become faster and faster,
And then.....nothing,
You could only hear yourself weeping for her soul,
How am I capable of such a thing,
You ask,
How did this blood come upon me,
To see such a thing,
Such an innocent life become damaged,
At a split second,
A split second depended upon life and death,
How foolish you were,
To think you could have a feast,
There is only so much water on the planet,
Only so much crimson in a human,
You look at the raindrop on your skin,
So alive,
It is the only thing left of that innocent body you took,
Life is blood. |
