Coughing Up Blood

Stop me from loving you, and stop my mind from reeling
I can feel your eyes against my back
And I'm praying that you'll put this gun to my head and blow me away at last
You say I'm crazy, I say I'll be fine in the end
"Will you tell me what's wrong?" you ask me, well now, that depends
Will you judge me? Will you look at me the same
After I've told you of my thoughts of death and my incessant pain?
What if I told you of the complex feelings I have that are the emotional equivilent to coughing up
Blood?
Would you be alright with me then? |
