Just Friends

don't know if it was true.
And when I start to think about it,
I'm sure that I loved you.
But the thought that nothing ever happened,
and that nothing ever will,
Lingers in my mind,
a thought I just can't kill.
It happens everyday,
someone you love that doesn't want you.
So why does it bother me,
when there's nothing I can do?
I'm fine being friends with you,
though sometimes I know you hate me...
Doesn't matter, you don't care,
we're friends that's all we'll ever be. |
