Freedom starts with a state of mind,
thoughts are free from tyranny's bind,
they can take away your property,
and take away your rights,
they can put someone in prison,
by the sheer power of their might,
but your thoughts are yours to have,
and your heart emotes as you will,
freedom to think and feel as we wish,
and our dreams we desire to fulfill,
the mind no dictator can jail,
they can say want they want,
but they'll ultimately fail,
for our thoughts remain free,
