» Poem: the silent dancer
the silent dancer
written by yorki_lass

her body lined and thin
muscles beaming through
she stretches with such elegance
her hopes are high too

She plies, her head held high
her back, ruler straight,
love is in her eyes,
not a trace of hate

She runs, not making a sound,
a springs up in the air,
Her legs part silently,
she shows no despair.

She spins and turns to a graceful end
a smile upon her face,
She bows and leaves, gleeful in her grace,
She knows shes filled the space.
