Sleep well Daddy-Knowin what youve done

i will let out my last sigh
i will laugh and joke
to my tears: goodbye
for i shall not cry another one
one the time ive lost
thinking about what went wrong
right now i dont give a toss
if it kills me i will show you
how strong i can be
it takes a soul to pick the knife
it takes a heart to say:hell im me
i wont let you win
and take away my hope
to steal my rain and thunder
ive even stopped the dope
if it kills me i will do it
all on my own
i wont be stoned or drunk
ill do it all alone
somewhere you sleep easy
knowing what youve done
you destroyed a little girl
and you destroyed her only mum
no one can make it better
for me or my mother
no ones going to bring us confort
well see it through together
bruises fade father
but the pain remains the same
youre out there and your knowing
you left me going insane
if it kills me i will prove
that your no man to me
your a little thing on my shoe
a little wannabe
did you feel big and strong
all them times you beat me?
did you feel a man?
while i screamed to you to let me be?
if it kills me i will grow
to love and respect men
to know theyre not all lyk you
ill show u before the clock strikes ten
so peaceful daddy sleep
dream you heart away
because nightmares will soon replace them
until to death you lay
