u think that i dont hear what u say
but im hurt from every word.
everything i say to u is completely misunderstood,
sometimes it feels like
i might as well be speaking to a block of wood.
i remember when i was little ud yell at me
to bring the belt wen ud get fed up with me,
id cry and try to make u change ur mind,
u never did no matter how id beg and plee.
id ask momma for help but she never would,
back then i never understood.
ud yell and scream at everyone
and everything had to go ur way,
ur still like that and i avoid u everyday.
everytime im near u,
i try to go away before u start talking to me,
cuz if we do start talking, things get pretty messy.
daddy if only u could throw all ur bitterness away,
everything would be ok.
but thats never gonna happen,
cuz ur never gonna change. |
