I Cry When I'm Alone

praying these tears will subside..
Abandoned by the ones I love,
having no one in which to confide..
Do you know I cry when I'm alone,
and when someone's near me they don't notice.
I'm trying to tell what I'm feeling without words,
why can't anyone take the time to focus..
On the outside I'm normal,
inside I'm slowly dying.
Everyone expects me to be perfect,
why don't they know I'm lying..
I'm not perfect, I'm not happy,
I'm not what I'm expected to be.
Everything is my fault, everything is my doing,
and I'm sick of using reverse psychology.
I can't even hear my own thoughts,
I'm drowning someone save me.
I'm screaming inside, outside I can't speak,
lost for words, they won't hear me screaming..
You can all be mad at me,
you can all scream at me,
The reason I won't be angry,
I'm not allowed to be..
They tortured me, they broke me,
broken beyond repair.
I've done nothing strange yet,
everyone around me stares.
Silence must be deadly,
because they all move away.
They ask me why I'm so quiet,
it's because I've got nothing to say. |

| My god. I'm at a loss of words. That was absolutly beautiful. That's exactly how i feel on the inside too. Just remember, your not truly alone.
People know your pain. Maybe not the ones closest, but theones furthest away. |
