reflection

do you really like what you've become
I know you're lying
to me
to yourself
to the world
it's pathetic
you know no one cares
yet you continue to call out for help
desperately reaching out your arms
in hopes somebody will take pitty on you
you hate yourself
for what you do
you hide your scars
with disgust
there is no pride in your form of art
when you draw those pictures in your skin
etch your sob story in your flesh
theres no peace in your mind
your constantly battling with yourself
'should I finish what I started?"
I hate looking in the mirror
and hearing what my reflection says
only because I know
it's the truth |
