» Poem: The Walls of my Mind
The Walls of my Mind
written by SoulOfADreamer
04:28 AM 3/19/05
I see an ugly being
In the mirror of this room
Staring sadly at the cieling
Over me my shadow looms

The walls here seem so badly painted;
The paintings simply cover up
the darkness that's engulfed this place
Here, all my fears turn to dust

This is worse
Than life itself
I've created this
In search of help

My tranquil place
is my mind, you see
Help me out
Come rescue me!

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
if you listen to Tyffani Arbuckle's music, the first 2 parts are kinda to the tune of this part in that one song...

Something sumthin sumthin reflections
Hypocrites in all directions
Cling to the things your father taught you
Confess your sins to the one who bought you!

and the last 2 parts are:

Do you feel
All alone?
..Faith has always
Kept you strong!
