» Poem: A Lifeless Soul
A Lifeless Soul
written by Scythe42
04:56 AM 3/19/05
Your bloodshot eyes look towards the crimson sky,
You see your hands covered in blood,
You can't believe what you have done,
You were only trying to defend your kind,
You didn't mean to inflict harm on an inoccent child,
It seems that you feel like you are blind,
Searching for a solution with no one to guide you,
The black pupil inside your eye,
Turns into your cold-hearted soul,
Blood that floods into a black hole,
How can you defend your kind, yet not harm the enemy at the same time,
You feel the slik red metal on your fingertips,
Another loud shreik from the bloody gun in your hands,
Like steam coming from boiling water,
You squeeze through the lifeless bones and rubble,
And manage to camouflauge yourself as a lifeless soul.
