I Need to Stop

I know it’s all a waste of time
I’m wasting my thoughts
I’m wasting what was mine
I know what I must do
Even if it’s great fully hard
I need to protect everyone
And what’s left of my heart
I need to stop freaking out
Over what seems so small
Smile for what’s there
And not for the long haul
I need to stop relying on you
To pick me each time I fall down
Because if I push too hard
I know you won’t be around
I need to stop everything I used to do
And forget everything I loved
It all won’t matter
When I’m up above |
