Revelation

Every mood I’m in
Every action I take
But why do you just stand and stare
Are you really who you say?
The poet with so many words
The romantic with all the right moves
Why can’t you ever look at me that way?
And say how you really feel
Do you know something I don’t?
Or do you just want to torture me like everyone else
I’ve had a revelation
I’m not going to give in no more
So if that’s what you want
You’re going to have to travel back
And find the girl I once was
Because she doesn’t live here anymore |
