» Poem: No One’s Home
No One’s Home
written by twistedmind33
06:38 AM 3/19/05
No one’s home
I’m out for the night
And I just might stay
The shadows comfort me
And sooth the cries of frustration
I don’t like the fighting
I don’t like being told what to do
I don’t like my life
So I’m going to find a new one
Don’t worry though, my dear
If I really loved you at all
I’d leave you a forwarding address
And that’s just what I did
You think I’m lying
But just check your coat
I’m all around you
Finally living carefree
