You Smile As I Die
written by YouSmileAs_I_Die11:19 AM 3/19/05I never thought I'd fall this far
I'm done with wishing on every single black star
For your love and for you touch
Because it seems like I was asking for just a little too much
So now I've got this blade against my wrist, and you to blame
For costing me so many tears and so much pain
I raise my arms high, offering myself to the Father as a Holy Sacrifice
And I can feel Death creep through my veins as cold as ice
The blood pours forth in a tidal wave of relieving bliss
Finally I'm through with life and all of this
I look up as the world slips into darkness, passing me by and by
And the last thing I see is your picture, and how you smile as I die |
