Dark Angel In My Eyes

you spun around my world,
knocked me outta my shoes,
caught me by surprise,
a dark angel in my eyes,
a pretty boy with an interest in me,
You caught me off guard,
and discovered my act,
broke through my outer shell,
and brought the nice girl back,
you led me on for so long,
I should've known something was wrong,
you wanted a friend,
and I wanted something more,
you just didn't wanna open your door,
you kept your feelings inside,
and eventually they died,
but mine are still burning like the fiery flames,
from deep within Hell,
and it's you I blame.
for casting your spell,
and clutching me in your hands,
then letting me slip through,
like I'm nothing but sand. |
