Ungrateful Embrace
written by KillTheBeautifulPeople06:01 AM 3/20/05Her glass blue eyes met mine at the break of dawn,
For one cold moment, I thought I knew her
For one ungrateful embrace, I thought
I loved her.
She was my friend, a lost lover
found at last in the middle of nowhere
The trust I failed to recognized never
existed underneath her beauty.
For one last Ungrateful Embrace,
I felt as though i was frozen in a matter of seconds
My life has taken a deadly toll for her
hungry soul. She used me for love
and I cannot feel my dying emotions.
She killed the trust i had for her when I saw
her poison my friend with her lips.
For the last ungrateful embrace, I will
make sure she will never see the light of day again after betraying me with my best friend. |

This poem is referring to my ex-girlfriend Kristal who cheated on me with a friend. She tore my heart like ripping a piece of paper in no time at all. [ View KillTheBeautifulPeople's Profile ] [ Go to the Poetry Portal ] This Poem has been viewed 466 times
