The Real Me.

At the feeling of new tears
Holding my breath
To stop myself from crying
Looking away from you
As i notice you looking into my eyes
Trying to figure out
Whats going on inside
I can't let you in
I can't let you see
I'm so afraid
I'd rather be alone
Please just let me breath
You're choking me
You lift up my sleeve
Staring at my scars
Gasping as you finally see the real me
You run your fingers over all the new cuts
As i let out a whimper of pain
Tears fall from your eyes
Don't let yourself cry
It's just too late to help me
Leave me to fend for myself
It's all i want to do
Don't let me ruin your life
Please don't try to help
I cut to know this all real
It just helps me to deal
With everything you've said
Just leave me to die
My life is a lie. |
