Consciously, you've forgotten it.
That's the way the human mind works.
Whenever something is too unpleasant, to shameful for us
to entertain, we reject it.
We erase it from our memories.
But the imprint is always there."
Lying on the floor,
Crying it away,
Drowning but the fears,
That brought you to me,
Shame but hides our eyes,
To blind them from the truth,
I do for you, my love.
The pain the grips you,
The fear that I am truth,
Releases life in me,
To find out who we are.
Please don't be afraid,
When the darkness fades away,
Dawn will break the silence,
Depressed in how that is.
"We're supposed to try and be real.
And I feel alone, and we're not together. And that is real."
To leave me now is crime,
To leave life is to die,
Understand me now that,
I can't be by your side,
All the time is now,
Days pass like hours,
Watching you sleep,
Peace my final time.
Beauty that may fade,
Sadness that may die,
Love goes on forever,
Eternally burning flame.
Cast me not away,
Say you'll be with me,
'Cause I know I couldn't, no.
"You're not alone, honey."
"Never... Never."
Behind me is the past,
Before me nothing lies,
But death, destruction, and you.
I want to find the truth,
In the back of my mind,
The shadow of you lies,
And I can't find my way.
Screaming just your name,
Are you there again?
Beside my haunting you,
Opressed my final time.
Reliving it again,
Thinking of the words,
Regretting that I left and lost,
My only passage out.
"I know you're not there. If you can hear me."
Can't wash it all away,
Can't scratch it all away,
Can't hope it all away,
Can't fight it all away,
Can't scream away,
Can't cry it all away,
Can't will it all away,
Can't dream it all away,
It just won't fade away.
