drink of death

In this life you're dying in this whirl pool of sin
With each bottle you down still comes another round
In the flow of death can't wait till your last breath
And as this poison flows the world is spinning
And everyone knows it's not you who's winning
Literally whirling around inside you scream without a sound
This numbing of pain only makes it hurt worse
You feel this life you chose -- Your curse
No way out only way in. You know because you've tried
Again and again you've given in given up
No one to take from you this cup perceived as medicine
In this bottle you hold is but deceiving poison
Substance glistens as gold just waiting for tomorrow
Forgetting the sorrow of today as you drink your life away |
